As for the road condition...it's been a wet spring...makes for big potholes. The drier the better...then you just get washboards...not really sure what I prefer...washboards send you flying sideways and really shake things up...and there were plenty of those too... Nothing soft about those roads...small volkswagens would disappear into some of the holes I hit! I had my truck in full fledged frog hopping a few times...I was just grateful for the fact that all my tires survived both in and out.
