OK, so it wasn’t totally problem free upgrading to Snow Leopard. I’m dealing with a little problems right now, but only one is actually related to the operating system. The other problem baffles me.
My Snow Leopard issue is that I have a photo scanner (HP G4050). No driver currently available. So it’s just an issue of HP having to get their ducks in a row and put it out. It’s annoying though…I need this thing. I just bought it less than a year ago with the goal of scanning in many…many, many, many… old slides from my Dad’s collection. I’m sure it will get dealt with soon. Until then it’s an annoyance since I promised to scan some documents and forward them to a friend.
Another small disappintment is that OpenFire doesn’t seem to play nice with Snow Leopard so my iChat workaround no longer works and I’ve had to switch to Adium for chatting. Oh well. That’s the way it goes. Two hiccups are pretty minor really.
