I love this, not even so much for what it says as for what it doesn’t say. When someone doesn’t share your values or ideals, it is assumed that “Something must be wrong with them” and that “We must look for a cure so we can change them and make them see things our way”
Wouldn’t the world be a wonderful place if we could accept each other and celebrate our differences where they really don’t cause any hurt to anyone? When someone’s belief (or lack thereof) has no damaging impact on another, there are still corners of society that just can’t leave it alone.
