Day 71 – The Things that Spring Will Bring

71/365 (March 12, 2010) – Spring is almost here and with the warmer weather the plants are starting to burst forward. When I looked in the fridge this morning for inspiration (It’s still raining so outside is not appealing to me) I saw a few sad strawberries in a container. Ours are still a few months away, but when the BC strawberries arrive, you know summer is just around the corner. BC berries are so sweet and don’t travel well so they have to be gobbled up almost immediately. But they are infinitely better than these California things we get year round. BC berries have real flavour.

May can’t come soon enough…..

Still very gloomy here Paige. Some sunny days but biting cold wind. Love this strawberry shot. I bought some the other day but they were only strawberries to look at – flavour obviously an added option I missed somewhere. Now raspberries ……….
