145/365 (May 25, 2010) – I went down to the USA today to pick up a few parcels in Blaine. Unfortunately, when I got there, I was too early and the shipping company wasn’t open yet.
So I drove down to Bellingham and went shopping.
Didn’t really buy much of anything, but when I wandered through a strip mall I was confronted with this store.
Don’t know what it is, looks like a typical department store, didn’t go in.
But the irony was that it was – Tuesday morning – when I took this.

98/365 (April 8, 2010) – Time and space, I wish I could manipulate both. I’d dive straight through this computer monitor and swim right back to that boat and continue sailing in the Mediterranean. Ah, what a great trip that was……
For the next few years I will have to content myself to dreaming about the Turkish Coast and planning the next trip. Until then, I will continue to stare at my wallpaper on the computer screen and dream.
Obviously not highly inspired with my camera today – but I am enjoying this silly little mannequin.

76/365 (March 17, 2010) – I had to make a quick run down to Blaine to pick up a few parcels. Shipping to the border and then making the quick drive across saves an awful lot of money on shipping and handling and customs charges. I can’t remember the last time the border guards sent us inside to pay taxes or duties. If we keep any value under about $100 each they seem to feel it is more hassle than is worth it and just send us on our way. You have to love that.

Went on a trip to Thunder Bay Ontario recently and we wandered about at the edge of Lake Superior for a bit. The lake provided some fantastic opportunities for ice photography…

34/365 (March 5, 2010) – Almost home. Ontario was great, seeing a friend was wonderful. But there is no sight I appreciate more than the sight of the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Yes, I also love the interior Rockies, but these mountains…they mean home. Even if they do also represent dormant volcanoes.
