The Story
Vancouver is so shiny and new compared to so many cities in the world. Canada itself is a pretty new place when you compare its history with Europe and Asia.
I was in Toronto recently and we took the subway to downtown to visit the Art Gallery of Ontario. The train reminded me a lot of those in London. It just felt “older” and more “Big City” than we have out on the West Coast….well, yes, because it is, I know. But it felt less like “Canada” and more like “somewhere else”.
